Got it! I managed a few very poor photos of the Willowchiff this afternoon! He was too far away for anything even half-decent but this has to be better than nothing!
So, what is it? Willow Warbler or Chiffchaff?

Hi Emma, i`d personally go for Chiffchaff. The legs appear to be too dark for Willow Warbler + the overall plumage seems to be a lot paler. I`m sure someone will put me right if i`m wrong.
Decent pics, better than i could do with these birds.

Thanks, Dean. Chiffchaff does seem to be the answer.
The legs looked paler yesterday but I was rushed trying to look at the feathers, eye stripe and legs all within 3 seconds!
Chiffchaff is a new garden tick I'm happy with!
Always go with your gut instinct!
Now I'm thinking that my warbler visitor was a Chiffchaff too. I wonder if you'd come over and keep a sharp eye on my parsley patch to see?

Maybe it's the very same bird and he's doing it to wind us up?
