New Garden Tick - Long-tailed Tit!
At last!! I knew they'd arrive eventually as I see them regularly at my local patch (which is roughly 20 seconds walk away!). This morning we've had not one, not two, but three Long-tailed Tits feeding on the peanuts at the top of the garden near the sunflowers.
No photos at the moment because I managed to scare them away when I walked past the back door to get my camera, but hopefully they'll be back sometime soon.

Really pleased they`ve finally found your garden Emma. 3 in the garden is worth more than any amount on your local patch. Hope they return for you to get some piccies.

Thanks, Dean!
I'm waiting for Bullfinch and Blackcap next :o)
Congratulations on the safe arrival of the Long-tailed Tit. I hope they become regular visitors. In the 11+ years we've been at Whitelees, I've only seen one once and that was in a blackcurrant bush that is no longer here. Should I replant blackcurrants or maybe I could fill the feeders once and a while and actually spend some time looking. . .
Congratulations on attracting long-tailed tits to your garden, these are beautiful little birds and my favourite :-)
We're just starting out now feeding birds in the garden and if we do half as well as you have, we'll be ahppy :-)
Paul.
