House Sparrow (15)
Woodpigeon (2)
Goldfinch (2)
Dunnock (2)
Blue Tit (2)
Coal Tit (1)
Starling (8)

Collared Dove (1)
Pied Wagtail (1)

The Siskins have been absent now for 8 weeks and the Pheasants have been absent for 15 weeks. I wonder when they will return?

We still have hedgehogs in the garden - we can see the tracks they leave at the side of the house where we deliberately leave the grass to grow long - but no takers of Hog House as yet.

Bag o' shite Blogger won't let me upload my photos again.

Birdman has the week off and If I can peel myself out of my pit in the morning, we have a trip to Loch Leven planned.

Hope you both have a great visit to Loch Leven, looking forward to seeing your results. Does this site have any speciality birds ?

Hi Dean,

First trip there today, and don't know *that much* about the place yet. Speciality birds seem to be Pink-feet and Greylag at this time of year, which were both there in their thousands. It's great watching them arriving in the V formations!

Will definitely go again, and maybe get a few ticks at some point. It's quite a drive, so it's not somewhere we'll be going every weekend! We'll try again mid-winter, hopefully.
