The Lodger hasn't roosted in the box since 17th October.
The Sparrowhawk landed in the garden today long enough, and close enough, for me to reel off a dozen-or-so close-up photos. Most pleased as I'd waited so long for this opportunity! Thought I'd blog them all tonight. Once the hawk flew off (with no dinner, as usual) I had a look back at what I'd just managed to get .... and discovered there was no memory card in the camera ...

Oh Emma!!, after reading the first half of the text i was more than looking forward to seeing the Sprawk pics. Let`s hope he/she returns and don`t forget the memory card :)

He's quite frequent at the moment - he just very rarely lands!
Grrrrrr :o)
How frustrating! We had about four treecreepers today but I can't take good bird photos so I didn't even try.
