Goldfinch

I was wondering why the garden had been extra, extra quite these last few days. This morning I found Smelly Cat hiding under one the hebes at the top of the garden. As a temporary measure I have chopped up an onion and some dried chilli and thrown it under the hebe to try and keep the cat away.

What a pretty bird!

Boo hiss to Smelly Cat. If you find out where his/her owner is, ask her to at the very least, put a bell on its collar.

I know where it comes from - next door :o(

I'll check for a bell next time I'm chasing it out of the garden!

The evil cat has a nice blue collar but no bell. I put a roll of wire netting under one of my bushes where it was staking out. It's broken two 6ft lengths of trellis off the top of my fences now, which I put up there to stop cats jumping over. Huh.

Super pics as usual.

Sorry, I must confess to owning one of those nasty feline creatures but she feeds exclusively on mice.

Your pictures are outstanding and I always enjoy visiting your site.

Thank you
Mo

Looks like your going to have to take more drastic measures aginst the moggies. It's not the cat's fault it doesnt have a bell. Shoot the owner!
