Ruddick
Our Robin seems to be an almost permanent fixture in the garden at the moment. I leave 'him' chopped peanuts, sunflower hearts and raisins under the buddleia at the top of the garden.

Aww bless him, Robins are such characters aren't they? My little Bouncer seems to have regained his territory now, having been missing all summer, and then a few times when he started to come to me for his food, another one was bombarding him. All sorted out now though, he was busy bullying off all and sundry from his feeding table the other night! He loves the suet pellets, have you tried them with your one? £1.99 a bag in Pets at Home, the insect ones in preference to the berry ones. :)
I've also got another one that lives round the other part of the garden who is also getting quite tame, and waits for me to put the seeds out, then will come within a few feet to get them (also loves the suet pellets as first choice, then sunflower hearts)
Never tried suet pellets, Janice. They are now on the list!
I have really enjoyed looking through your pictures which are all of excellent quality.
Thanks for brightening up an otherwise dull day!
That middle photo is a good Christmas card photo! I can never match the robin's cheeky appearance with their agressive behaviour. They're just too cute to be agressive.
