Song Thrush

This is only the second time we've recorded a Song Thrush in the garden since we moved here in May 2005. S/he was in the garden this morning for around five minutes - but due to the bullying tactics of a Starling and a male Blackbird s/he mainly stayed under the cover of the hebe and buddleia!

how odd. The backbirds ignored my song thrush when he visited :(

There are a lot of soaked sultanas scattered around the border - I think the Blackbird was getting a little possessive!

Our Blackies are so greedy, they clear the plate of sultanas in no time then sit around on the fence/trellis hoping we put more out!
