First Egg!
As suspected, Lola laid her first egg this morning.
I've managed to pin-point the moment she laid it - 5:59am!
This is the first decent shot of the egg
Lola sitting on her egg - but she's not incubating yet. She won't start incubation until she's laid the whole clutch. That way, all the eggs will hatch at roughly the same time (same day). Great Tits typically lay 8-13 eggs. We could see fewer, but hopefully not more!
Lola will lay one egg a day.
My guess is 6 eggs!
