BTO Garden BirdWatch 13-19 January 2008
Horribly dull, dark, wet and windy days for what seems like forever now. Not much sunshine at all...
We either have a new Sparrowhawk visiting the garden, or he's the usual one and he's upped his game - I saw him catch two birds on Wednesday, and one on Thursday. I know he has to eat, blah blah blah, but I don't want to make it easy for him, so I'm going to try moving his target feeder down to the bottom border where he *might* find it a bit trickier. I couldn't quite make out what he caught - but I think they were Siskins on each occasion. He's also taken to sitting on top of the bird table frequently.
Still no activity in the bird box.

Great shots of the Siskins :-)
