Great Spotted Woodpecker
At last! This is the first time I've seen a Great Spotted Woodpecker feeding up near the house - they usually stick to the feeders at the bottom of the garden. It was Birdman who spotted him (and he also took the photos).
Ignore the glare from the kitchen window ;o)

That is a beautiful woodpecker! You can tell by the number of photos you've posted of this magnificent bird that you're quite excited about his visit! ;-)
Birdman fired off 142 images. I've not even been through them all yet!
