awww bless, the first time I've actually felt pity for a sparrowhawk! Well, apart from the one I rescued who got caught in the hollybush here.
We had a soggy sparrow hawk in our garden two years ago. I found it on the ground next to the house. It was still alive and very very thin. It died as I was trying to get it warm and dry. Your poor wet bird reminds me of ours.
